Check if it copies your remote

How to clone it (5 seconds)

1. Hold the old remote and the new one head to head, a couple of centimetres apart.

2. Press and hold the button you want to copy on both remotes at the same time.

3. The LED flashes fast, then stays on. That button is cloned.

4. Repeat for the other three buttons if you want more gates.

What is in the box

1 remote with 4 buttons, battery already fitted, keyring loop, and a one-page instruction sheet.

Nothing else is needed. You do not open the gate motor, you do not touch the receiver.

Which remotes it copies

It copies 433 MHz fixed-code remotes, which is what most residential gates, garage doors, barriers and roller shutters in Europe use.

It does not copy rolling-code remotes (also called hopping code or KeeLoq), where the code changes at every press. If the back of your remote says rolling code, or the brand sells it as an anti-copy remote, this will not clone it.

Not sure? Send us a photo of the back and we will tell you before you order.

The dealership wants sixty euros for a second remote.

And a week of waiting, and often a visit to reprogram the receiver. For a piece of plastic with one job.

Meanwhile the remote you already own carries the code. It can be copied in the time it takes to read this sentence.

Questions we actually get

KlarCar remote

Will it work with my gate?

If your current remote is 433 MHz fixed code, yes. That covers most residential gates and garage doors in Europe. Rolling-code remotes cannot be cloned by any duplicator, including this one.

How do I know if mine is fixed or rolling code?

The back of the remote usually says. Fixed code often shows a bank of small switches (DIP switches) under the battery cover. Rolling code says so on the label, or is sold as an anti-copy remote. Send us a photo and we will check for you.

Does the original remote keep working?

Yes. Cloning reads the code, it does not move it. Both remotes work afterwards.

Can I copy four different gates onto one unit?

Yes. Each of the four buttons is cloned separately, so one remote can carry four doors.

What if it does not clone?

Send it back within 30 days for a full refund. If your remote is rolling code it will not clone, and that is on us for not catching it - tell us before you order and we will save you the trouble.
